A well-rounded music education is so much more than learning notes on an instrument! These classes are designed to enrich the experience of students who are already in piano (or other music) lessons by teaching important music theory and aural skills that are typically difficult to fit into a regular lesson.
My goal is to expose students to harmonic analysis, playing and transcribing by ear, melody and part writing, music history, and other theory concepts in a fun and engaging way.
Group theory classes are taught every other week, on either Saturday mornings or Thursday evenings.
Tuition: $500/year ($250/semester); books and materials included.
